Actually, I think this is a dandelion-colored butterfly of some sort, but no matter. Isn’t she pretty!? Next week’s color in The Challenge is Avocado, which is an absolutely luscious color – on anything but kitchen appliances. Hee.

Today’s offering is that elusive, unpredictable, sweet-but-just-a-little-tart… Folly! Wait, wait… I’m talking about that lovely red hue, not our model Danirose. *wink*

I must have turned the grid over looking for just the right red – then I recalled all of the delightful rosy colors that Indyra sells, and voilà! I tell you, when searching for a folly, cranberry, cherry, hot pink, crimson – or even a raspberry – that is a great place to look.

Finishing this week’s ensemble was not as easy as I thought it would be, but I do like the way it turned out. I searched for Alice blue, powder blue, baby blue, robin’s egg blue, sky blue — and most items would have worked just fine. This little ice blue number from Son!a’s did the trick, though.

Next week’s color is Folly, which seems to be a cool shade of red. Tune in again to see what I come up with for that!
