Goodness, I feel like I’m in a time warp; I can’t believe I haven’t posted anything in nearly two weeks! (I blame Santa Claus and that whole Christmas thing… ho ho ho…) Break time is over though and it’s time to get back to posting again!

I’m just squeaking in under the wire with this week’s Color Challenge submission. I hope there are more shades of green coming up, because I love it nearly as much as pink.

I enjoy the contrary juxtapositions here: delicate, sheer fabric paired with supple leather; soft, feminine visage and a short, boyish crop of hair; an overall girlish presentation against a background of formed concrete.

I love creating visual and psychological tension in each little fashion composition, and I always hope that others can pick up on those things as well. If not, that’s ok too. Sometimes it’s just nice to look at a pretty picture. (I’ll never knock that!)

Eight inches of snow here in Iowa and everything is now moving in slow motion. Except Christmas, of course. That is coming on as fast as a speeding freight train. I think it’s time to forget the treacherous roads and icy sidewalks and just start cyber shopping like crazy.
