Well, thank goodness for modifiable clothes. I would still be searching for something Pueblo colored if I didn’t have the opportunity to throws a few things in a vat of dye! The final result was worth the effort, though; I think it all came together nicely.

The next color in The Challenge (omg…Week 20!?) is Deep Pink. I’ve already found something perfect for that, so it’s time to head to the studio.

Presenting this week’s color in The Challenge… Thistle. The word thistle evokes images of something prickly, painful and definitely a plant you want to avoid coming into contact with. Our thistle here, however, is soft, tender, very feminine and welcoming. It’s great fun to transform preconceptions.

On another subject, there have been inquiries recently regarding which equipment and processes the AlphaBrats use to compose the images seen here. Here is that information: We use the photoLIFE 3.0 Professional Photography System, Tillie’s v4 Posestands and HUDs, and very little (if any) post-processing software. The images are snapped, cropped in Photoshop, and once in a while a speck or seam is tidied up. That’s it.

Sound the trumpets! This is the first post containing mesh ANYTHING to be posted on the blog! I know, we’re just pathetically slow, aren’t we? Truth be told, all of the ‘Brats were hoping the whole mesh thing would just go away. It was just getting too frustrating to deal with.

Speaking for myself, I’ve purchased quite a few expensive mesh items that are just poorly made or look like potato sacks once I got them on. (And my friends have, too!) But there are some designers that are mastering the new skill and I now eagerly look forward to buying or recommending their items. Expect more mesh around here from now on.
